| About JoomlaForm |
JoomlaForm.com exists to admire and inspire good form in the Joomla! community. What is form?Form is defined as "The design, structure, or pattern of a work of art" (Dictionary.com). Joomla! provides a solid framework for management and the proper function of a website, and designers provide the form. "Web Design Enthusiasts"JoomlaForm aims at becoming a community of Joomla! users, template designers, and web design enthusiasts with the purpose of showcasing and promoting good design with the best CMS available, Joomla!. Our mission is to scour the Joomla! world to find the sites that are, in our opinion, the best of the best examples of good form using Joomla! as their framework. How does it work? It's simple. You submit (site submission temporarily suspended due to spam) your site to JoomlaForm.com. I review your site, and I decide whether or not it will be one of the JoomlaForm.com featured sites. When a site is featured on JoomlaForm.com, a screenshot of the site's home page will be displayed along with a link to the site. Visitors will then be able to review your site and discuss what they like and do not like about it. What JoomlaForm is Not
CriteriaTo be fair, we must set forth some criteria for becoming a featured site at JoomlaForm, so here they are. A JoomlaForm featured site...

Let's SummarizeJoomlaForm is a community of web design enthusiasts gathering to admire and inspire good form for the purpose of promoting good design in the Joomla! community. JoomlaForm is not an awards site, a final authority, a design firm, or an official Joomla! website. Thanks for visiting JoomlaForm.com. Massive respect to Webb for this one stop shop for design inspiration. This site along with HowToJoomla.com can be described in one word... CLEAN! I like that, for too many Joomla sites are too ambitious and too busy. Its reassuring to see that just cause a site is built on the Joomla framework doesn't mean it has to look like it.

I love your sites and dedication to Joomla! design and methods. Thank you for creating this site as well as your great How To Joomla site. I would like to submit two of my sites for your design evaluation because feedback is a great way to learn. I've been designing and coding in Joomla for three years after creating standard web sites for a previous 5 years. I love the interactivity and modular nature of Joomla. How does one go about submitting sites for your review?
P.S. I agree with Taine's comment but sometimes due to client wishes, it is difficult not to create a cluttered layout. Believe me I have argued for unique and uncluttered layouts. Joomla is just a tool, the design is up to us and our abilities to either make our own templates (which I have not had the time to do) or customize commercial templates to fit our specific needs. 4 report abuse
